About Us
What is “The Mooch Memorial Fund?”
The Mooch fund was established in 2009 by Drs. Sam and Annemarie
Yoder, owners and veterinarians of Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic.
The fund was created in order to help the community and their 4 legged
family members receive the veterinary care they need. Things come up,
we understand that. Often times pets need medical attention at
inopportune times and for many families, this is difficult. We wanted
to be able to help with this. Over the years, we have been very
fortunate to be able to provide many pets the care they need through
fund raising and donations. We are even more fortunate and excited to
announce that we have now become a 5013c non-profit organization! Our
plan is to grow the Mooch Memorial Fund and be able to offer more to
the community. Each year we hold a variety of fundraising events such
as our annual Rabies Clinics, pet pictures with Santa, holiday bake
sale, holiday wreath sale, year-round equal exchange candy and coffee
sale, dog walk, and much more!
Our clients are our neighbors and friends, and being a part of such a
great community only incentivizes us to want to give back. Stay tuned
to see what new events and products are coming up to raise more money
for our great little organization!
